Charabanc is a start-up from West London with the vision to create a luxury car fragrance based on the scents of the most iconic drives around the world. The brief was to design a round case (pomander) to hold a ceramic disc with its scent that could be placed in various locations in the car, protect the car’s interior from the oil and allow the air to flow through it and release the scent. All parts of the case are handmade in the UK and are recyclable or biodegradable. The brand is now exporting to the growing market in Asia and the Middle East. The car fragrance has been in the gift bags for the Oscars® 2020 nominees.
